Day 1: Tashkent – Nukus
Our company is happy to see everyone on a tour in Uzbekistan. First to all, we will visit Independence square, local Broadway and of course the famous Tashkent metro. First line was opened in 1977. Continue your tour visiting old parts as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. It has madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The highpoint of its exhibitions is the Othman Quran (the world’s oldest Quran copy dating back to 8th c). It belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph, but was killed by in 8th century. His blood is seen over book’s pages. Then we will have flight to Nukus. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 2: Nukus – Kungrat – Sudochye – Aral Sea
In the morning we will have a long drive to Aral Sea (9 hours). We will drive via Nukus – Kungrad – Plato Ustyurt – Sudochye Lake – Aral Sea. Have a stop at Gaur Kala Fortress ("fortress of the infidels"), erected around the fourth century B.C. The walls of the fortress, the height of which surpasses ten meters, are encircled by the conserved till our days a few strangleholds. Today it is unmanageable to say for sure what kind of structures they were. On arrival to Aral Sea, explore the environs. Overnight is in tents.
Day 3: Aral Sea – Muinak – Nukus – Tashkent
After hearty breakfast we will visit attractive canyons of Ustyurt and drive towards Muinak over the parched bottom of the sea. The civic of Muynak is one of the outstanding examples of the ecological tragedy in the region. It was once the largest Karakalpakstan’s port and Aral Sea center of fishery. On arrival in Muinak visit the necropolis of ship in ex-shore of the Aral Sea and town museum. Drive to Nukus, then flight to Tashkent. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 4: Nukus – Ayaz Qala – Tuprak Qala – Khiva
Today we will drive to Khiva. It is the most ancient city in Uzbekistan. Get facts of the history of the legendary Khorezmshah’s State with its capital in Urgench in past times. In the 10th century Khiva is stated as a main interchange center on the Silk Road. Everyone will visit two renowned fortresses as Ayaz Qala and Turpak Qala. Ayaz Qala is an ancient castle of Khorezm, termed on behalf of legendary warrior-slave Ayaz who was a Turkic folklore conqueror. The site was found in the II century AD. Tuprak Qala is translated as “clay fort”. It was the imperial city of Khorezmian ruler Artav. It was engaged until 6th century AD. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Khiva – Tashkent
The next day of a tour will start by travelling to magnificent sightseeing tour in the oldest city of Uzbekistan. Start a tour to Ichan Qala, it is the inner city in Khiva smoothed with robust walls. See old sound buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan Sarais and Bathhouses distorted Ichan Qala into unique city-monument. Ichan Qala contains of over 400 traditional dwelling houses and about 60 architectural monuments. It is worth noting that in 1969 Ichan Qala was elected a historical and architectural conservation area. The most extraordinary sites in it are the Kunya Ark fortress of the 17th century, found by Muhammad Arang Khan, Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, an unbelievable sample of Khorezm architectural mastership of 1830s. Then you will have a flight to Tashkent. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 6: Tashkent – Flight
Transfer to airport. Flight for the next destination.
