Day 1: Tashkent
Dear travelers! We are happy to see you in Uzbekistan! Let’s have a city tour. We will visit Independence square, walk alongside the local Broadway as well as see Tashkent metro, opened in 1977. Our group will visit the old parts as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. It has madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. We will visit Othman Quran defined to be the oldest Quran copy (8th century). The holy book was Othman’s Ibn Affan who was the Third Caliph (of the four honorable Caliphs who prospered the prophet Muhammad). Othman was murdered in 8th century and his blood is found on book’s pages. Night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand
In the morning is transfer to railway station of Tashkent for your train to Samarkand. Samarkand is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan. It is the second largest city of Uzbekistan. Then we will visit sights such as Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Being in Registan Square you can see three captivating Madrasahs of the 15-17th centuries. Walk to Shakhi Zindeh and see a large collection of mausoleums of the 11th-15 centuries (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Bibi Khanum Mosque is dedicated to Tamerlane’s wife. Overnight is in a hotel. 

Day 3: Samarkand
Continue to explore Samarkand city. Being there we will visit Ulughbek observatory, built in 15th century by Ulughbek. It is one of the most famous Samarkand sovereigns and researchers. When he worked in his observatory, Ulughbek formed in 1437 the “Zidji Guragoni” collection, which had info about 1018 celestial bodies. Later on, he was murdered by order of his own son. Walk along the Local Broadway enclosed by souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. The next destination is National bazaar Siab, oriental bazaar. It is a great opportunity to find Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. On the way you will learn more about carpet factory where over 400 women sew carpets. Visit Samarkand paper workshop and see production of silk. Overnight is in a hotel. 

Day 4: Samarkand – Tashkent
In the morning is train to Tashkent. On arrival we will have a city tour and visit Courage Monument. It is a commemorative complex, established in honor of the abolition of the significances of the Tashkent earthquake. Travel to Zangi Ota memorial complex. According to legend, Zangi Oota was a shepherd and eminent for his knowledge. The city tour will be finished by visiting the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, containing of fine examples of glasses and national clothing, hand and machine embroidery, skullcaps and national fabrics, carpets and woodcarving. Transfer to a hotel. 

Day 5: Tashkent – Flight
Transfer to airport. Have a soft landing!
