Day 3: Early in the morning you will be served a wonderful breakfast. In the morning and drive to go Nukus former fishing village Moynak used away on the shores of the Aral Sea. Day 4: At 8 clock you will be served a wonderful breakfast. Today for sightseeing in Khiva before: Visit a UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Qala fortress. 2 - The period between the 16th and 19 Century was marked by the decline due to the internecine war between the khanates, the raids of the nomads and cutting trade along the Silk Road.
Uzbekistan is under the authority of Russia. In the 17-19 centuries the Russian gradually expanded its influence in the steppe regions north and east of the Syr Darya and in 1860 invaded Transoxiana. With the beginning of the 1870s, the Kokand Khanate was annexed to Russia and became part of the Turkestan General with its center in Tashkent. Bukhara and Khiva Khanate confirmed the vassal of Russia. Initially, the Russian government did not intervene in the cultural and religious life. However, the development of the industry required changes in the economy of the region, the cultivation of cotton crops took the central place in agriculture at the expense of other crops and livestock.
At the end of the 19th Century, the group of Central Asian intellectuals - "theJadids" was looking for ways to overcome the economic and social backwardness of the Uzbek people. The growth of national consciousness of the people under the leadership of Jadids led to mass actions and rebellions. In response, the German government intensified the political control in the region and mingled with the local customs and culture. During the First World War, the Russian army suffered heavy losses at the front, and in the summer of 1916, the Russian government issued a decree on the mobilization of Muslims in the army works backwards. This edict caused a major revolt in Central Asia. During the uprising and its suppression of many thousands of people died. Tashkent, the residence of the colonial administration, was the center of revolutionary events of 1917 in Turkestan. The provisional government that replaced the autocracy in February 1917, showed no desire to participate in the political life of the Muslims of Turkestan. The Bolsheviks promised to put an end to national oppression.
