Day 1: Ashgabat
In Turkmenistan the guide will meet you and transfer to a hotel. Today we will visit Old Nisa. It was a capital of Parthian Empire and the late president’s Mausoleum and “Gypjak” Mosque. Afterwards visit impressive parks and monuments and other important buildings of wonder. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Kow Ata – Nokhur – Balkanabat
Drive to Kow Ata lake or Father of caves. The temperature of water is 33-37 ° C. It allows to swim over there. Meet the village of Nokhur signifies itself as a blue valley in the mountains of the Kopet Dag Range, with the houses made of cement and mud. The streets are so narrow that they merely fit the car between the high stone retentive walls on each side. They live in several villages in the hilly border zone enclose Turkmenistan and Iran. Then continue our tour to the Balkanabad city. Night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Balkanabat – Yangikala – Gozli Ata – Turkmenbashi
Today we will explore Yangikala canyons, located 165 km to the north from Balkanabat and 160 km to the east from Turkmenbashi. Yangikala means “fire fortresses” where you can see the sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, imprinted by winds and rains. See magnificent view of interface of red- hot color with the sun. At first bottom of the canyons was the bottom of an antique sea and now you can walk there and relish the loveliness of natural made park full of sculptures from compressed soil. Try climbing the flamboyant hills but you cannot hold buttresses. One of the most distant pilgrimage sites in Turkmenistan is Gozli Ata. Drive to Turkmenbashi. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 4: Turkmenbashi – Ashgabat – Darwaza
In the morning is a short flight to Ashgabad. Travel for visiting Erbent village and to Cas Crater Darwaza. Being there you will appreciate the gorgeousness and exclusivity of the crater at daylight and at night. It is worth having meal in BBQ style. In the end of day you will sleep in tents.
Day 5: Darwaza – Kunya Urgench – Ashgabat
Travelers will drive to Kunya Urgench. It will take 261 km and 4h 35 min. Kone Urgench is under UNESCO protection. It was the ancient capital of Khorezm. Find out about mausoleums of II Arslan and Soltan Tekesh, Nejmeddin Kubra, Soltan Ali, Turabek Khanum of the 12th century, minaret of KutlugTimur, Mamun II. Flight to Ashgabad and transfer to a cozy hotel for sleep.
Day 6: Ashgabat – Mary
The tour will start by travelling to Mary city. When you arrive there, you will have an opportunity to visit Historical Museum. For sure everyone will enjoy and learn more about its culture. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 7: Mary – Merv – Ashgabat
Talking of Mary, it is included to UNESKO World Heritage Site as one of the chief sights of Central Asia that had played significant part of emerging Silk Road. The wonderful Mausoleums of the Sultan of Sanjar and Muhammad Ibn Zeid found in the XII century, screening sophisticated brickwork and architectural style. We will drive to Ashgabat and visit Russian bazaar. Visit one of the most superb Muslim mosques in Turkmenistan – Ertugrul Gazi dedicated to the father of Osman Empire’s first ruler. Night is in a hotel.
