A fascinating historical exploration and adventure tour takes you along the southeastern part of one of Asia's largest desert - the Kyzyl-Kum (Red Clay). You see most ancient cities and world famous architectural monuments of Samarkand, with the original way of life and traditions of the indigenous population. The wild nature of deserts and mountains for you. They happen where the Great Silk Road was in the old days, and visit places connected with the name of Tamerlane the Great and his cave beneath the foothills of the Gissar area. According to ancient legend, the cave was an asylum for Timur and his small army. Bicycle Tour is full of exotic adventures, legends and oriental hospitality. Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2: Breakfast. Transfer to the city Jizzak - Yangikishlak village (290 km, 5 hours). Camp. Packed. This is where the active part of the migration cycle. There is a good asphalt road from Yangikishlak village at the foot of the ridge and Nurata Majrumsay canyon and the Kizil-Kum desert. Day 6: Breakfast. Drive from yurts to Nurata city (100 km, 7 hours) - by bicycle. Packed. Camp. On the way visit to see the old irrigation systems - kerizes (from the time of Alexander the Great). Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 7: Breakfast. Sightseeing in Nurata city and its surroundings, the Mosque of brothers and Khasan Khuseyn (16 - 17. Cc), blacksmiths and potters' workshops, a visit to a sacred source of Muslim pilgrimage. Ride to National Reserve (40 km, 3 hours) by bike Sarmish. Packed. Camp. Lunch at an Uzbek house. Day 8: Breakfast. Drive from Kalkan Sarmish Karman village (36 km, 4 hours) on a bicycle. Then transferred Navoi - Bukhara by bus (150 km, 3 hours). Accommodation at the hotel. Packed. Free time. Dinner. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 9: Breakfast. City tour. Citadel Ark (4th century BC), Samanids Mausoleum (. 9th-10th c), Chashma Ayub (14. C), Bolo Hauz Mosque (early 20th century). Coumpol bazaar Medreseh Nadir-Divan Beghi complex Lyabi-Khauz (14 - 17. cc)., Kalon Minaret (12. c), Kalyan Mosque (12th century), Medreseh Miri Arab (16th c .). Packed. Day 11: Breakfast. Take over of Shakhrisabz Kyzyltepa village by the Langar Valley Yangykyshlar village (60 km, 2 hours). Packed. Ride up the valley (50 km, 8 hours). Camp. On the road, visiting several villages and explore local lifestyle. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 12: Breakfast. Busy day. You drive over Kyzylgaza Pass (2600 m) to a plateau and descend to Tashkurgan settlement (20 km, 6 - 7 hours). Packed. Camp. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 13: Breakfast. Hike to the cave Tamerlane (8 km, 7 hours). Camp. A good path along the River Kolasay. Packed. On the way to explore dinosaur footprints in limestone from the Jurassic period. There is a large gap with an internal lake Tamerlane cave. They say the lake water has healing powers and the lake is "holy." It is a pilgrimage site for many local people. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 14: Breakfast. Trip to a Tatar village (20 km, 6 hours). Packed. Camp. En route we see the watch tower (14th cent.) And you learn the craft of local people, their work is exposed famous for producing familiar streets (ovrings). Possible visit local house. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 15: Breakfast. Meet the bus. Take Shakhrisabz (30 km, 1 hour). Packed. Journey to Samarkand (75 km, 7 hours). Accommodation at the hotel. The route passes through the picturesque foothills of the Turkestan range and Takhtakaracha pass, from where we get a view of the entire valley Kashkandarya. Dinner. InSamarkand night.
