Day 1: Dushanbe – Hissor – Dushanbe
At the airport of Dushanbe, you will be met by the driver. Today is a city tour. Explore Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal as well as the House of parliament. Walk to the National park, Ministry of Inner Affairs where you can see the greatest National Flag in the world – 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Drive to Hisor fortress found in the 7th -17th centuries and was the residence of the representative of Amir Bukhara. It was located on a high hill had a wall 1m thick with holes for the guns and cannons. Inside the fortress there was a pool and beautiful and colorful gardens, busy and noisy market with shops and caravan serai. In addition you will see “Madrasa I Kuhna” that dated back 16th – 17th century; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” dated back 16th. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe – Iskanderkul Lake
Travel to see an alpine lake Iskanderkul with the altitude 2 255 meters above sea level. It is located in Fann Mountains as one of the most beautiful places of Central Asia. The road passes via Anzob pass (3 372 m) where you can see attractive panorama view. On the lake you can take a walk on the beach and lay down on warm sand. Hike to see a waterfall. Tajikistan is country that has a lot of water resources among the CIS countries. Tajikistan takes second place among them and has the biggest water reserves, more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8 000 glaciers. Night is in a guest house.
Day 3: Iskanderkul Lake – Penjakent
The Penjakent or “five villages” will be your next destination. This place is located in the Khujand area of Tajikistan in an attractive and flamboyant Zeravshan river valley. The city was found in the 5th -8th centuries AD. This city was one of important traditional and craft center of Sogd. It was ruler’s palace two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses adorned with a lot of paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. You are going to admire beauty as old houses and offices, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers’ church. Night is in a local guesthouse.
Day 4: Penjakent – Seven lakes – Penjakent
Get a hiking tour in one of the most extensive hiking places in Central Asia. We will go from Panjakent to About 60 km to south where Marquzor Lake or Seven Lake situated. Get time to hike over the gorge to the Seven’s Lakes lay. It is situated on the different levels. On the way you will have a chance to communicate with locals and find more about Tajikistan’s culture and customs, and their way living. Rest is in a guesthouse.
Day 5: Penjakent – Khujand
In the morning we will travel to Khujand. It is located on the Fergana valley where Syr Darya River flows lays the second largest city in Tajikistan with the population of 149,000. Nowadays this place called Sughd. Khujand is the capital of the northern. This city has a Cultural Palace and it famous for the first president that was selected here. The city center is notable for its Central Mosque and must be visited on a tour. Night is in a hotel.
Day 6: Khujand – Dushanbe
This day will start by driving back to Dushanbe. On the way we will pass via the Anzob pass with its altitude 3 372 meters and Isticlol tunnel. Admire beauty of incredible Fann Mountais also were known for its loveliness and exclusivity. It is also called “Kuhistan” as "Mountainous Country". In Fann Mountains you can find more than 30 lakes with different size and form that’s why this area is very good for trekking and hiking. Flora and fauna here are rich and has diversity of them. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Dushanbe – Airport
Morning transfer to airport. Have a safe landing.
