Day 1: Bishkek
At Manas International Airport the guide will meet you and accompany you to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. Have a guided tour of Bishkek. It comprises visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic, and so on. The next destination is visiting the famous Asian Bazaar! Learn more about bustling local life. This bazaar is an earsplitting and lively tapestry of fabrics, produce. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek – Alamedin gorge – Bishkek
Visit Alamedin gorge. We can hike via astonishing gorge and see cattle and even yurts. Yurts are nomadic dwellings living all year round. The foothills in this gorge are covered with fir trees and along the entire route is a mountain river which ends with a waterfall via rocky mountains. You will have a picnic near this waterfall. This is a great venture to have a rest far from society and to enjoy the views of nature. Then we will return to Bishkek.
Day 3: Bishkek – Burana – Chon Kemin
Today is transfer to Chon Kemin gorge. We will visit Burana Tower originated in the 11th century minaret and a museum of Balbals or stone warriors. Then have climbing on the top of the tower and transfer to Chon Kemin gorge. Here you will meet a Kyrgyz family. In the afternoon we will have 3 hours of horse riding high in the mountains and mountain forest. On the top you will see the panorama view of the gorge. Homestay.
Day 4: Chon Kemin – Rafting – Kochkor
This tour will start from rafting trip along a mountain river! This river is very widespread amongst people that love it. Instructors will give a short explanation of what to do. Afterwards you will be transferred to Kochkor village. In Kochkor village a local family will show you how our national felt carpets are created. Learn felt making and create your own carpet together with them! Then visit a small handicraft museum there. They have many examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolves, horse saddle decorations, carpets and more. Night is in a home stay.
Day 5: Kochkor – Issyk Kul southern shore – Jeti Oguz
In the morning is transfer to celestial Issyk Kul Lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in the world called "the pearl of Central Asia" and considered to be a sacred one. You can come up to the lake and to see mountains all around it. We will have a break in Bokonbaeva village. Visit a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles. Then we will transfer to famous gorge of Jeti Oguz, Red Rocks. Rest.
Day 6: Jeti Oguz – Jyrgalan
The morning will start from a short walking. On the way we will meet nomads. They come to these mountains in summer times with their cattle. Nomadic families used to move from one pasture to another in order to have better pastures. Then is transfer to Jergalan valley in far eastern Kyrgyzstan. This astonishing valley meets you with lavish, green mountains lit by bright sunshine and fresh mountain air. The valley converts into a rich winter scenery enclosed by high mountain peaks and deep, snow. It is free for ride skiing. On the tour you will be invited to immerse in Kyrgyz friendliness and ethnic traditions preserved for generations. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 7: Jyrgalan – Karakol
First half of the day you will have a break. Then is transfer to Karakol town. We will visit the Dungan mosque there built in Chinese style without using metal pin. Afterwards visit the famous old wooden Orthodox Church as well as the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky as one of the world’s greatest explores. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Karakol – Issyk Kul northern shore – Bishkek
In the morning is transfer to Bishkek city. This time we will drive lengthways the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. This is a great idea to see the whole lake from all wings. We will make a short break to give you the chance to visit ancient stone inscriptions of the 800 B.C. These petroglyphs were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. See stunning panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake. Transfer to a hotel.
