If you are tired of civilization there is a great chance to feel the freedom of mind. You will have a trekking tour to enjoy untouched nature of mountainous Kyrgyzstan and to visit numerous lakes of pure sparkling water. During the trip you will find out about Kyrgyz traditions, customs and culture, because the Kyrgyz being nomads for thousand years managed to live in a grat harmony with nature that helped them to develop their distinctive culture and to keep all their amazing traditions and customs till now days.


Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley (170 km - 4 h)
You will be met by your guide at Manas International Airport and accompanied you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you will start the day with a breakfast in Dungan (Chinese Muslims) guesthouse. In case you arrive too early we can offer you a nice room with comfortable beds and you will be able to take a shower. The half day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. After transfer to Chon Kemin valley, on the way, 80 km east of the capital you will have excitinf excursion in the Burana Museum, a site of a medieval city of Balasagun, which was created in the times of the Karahanids supremacy i9n Central Asia, a Turkic dynasty of the 11 century.  Dinner and overnight is in Kalmak - Ashuu home stay.

Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga (150 km - 4 h)
After breakfast you will have a short term walking in Chon Kemin Valley - large alpine valley. Here you have a wonderful opportunity to see real Kyrgyz nomads who live in yurts almost like 1000 years ago in the Tien- Shan Mountains surrounded by fast rivers, fir trees. Before our departure to Tamga village, we will stop not far from Chon-Kemin in order to walk 2 hours in Konorchek labyrinths, where at the end of the gorge you will have a time for a photo session to capture all the beauty of the magic views of red sandstone Canyons. Then picnic is organized here. Afterwards we will go on with our trip to Tamga resort village that is sited on the southern shore of Issik Kul lake(1600m), the second largest mountain lake in the world and the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan. There is a sanatorium in Tamga where soviet astronauts used to rehabilitate and train their skills, as the altitude and climate created just perfect conditions to do that. On the way to Tamga we will visit our famous Talgat - a hunter with golden eagles. He will tell us about his birds. After it we can do some photos of the eagles. After arrival in Tamga village you will have sometime to swim in the lake. Accommodation is in Askar and Tamara guesthouse.

Day 3: Tamga - Barskoon gorge - Dunguromo Pass (3570 m) - Dugurotmo gorge (5 hours)                                       
This day after reaching Barskoon village  we will visit there the family who are occupied with manufacturing of yurts. This will be an incredible opportunity for you to reveal the secret of producing those wonderful nomadic abodes. Then we continue our way to Barskoon gorge, one of the most picturesque places in the mountainous Terskey Ala Too. You will see one of the highest waterfalls in Kyrgyzstan (alt. 2500 m) that is 60 meters high, as well as the stone of astronauts with a sign of first man in the space - Urii Gagarin.  From this place we start our trekking. We will have an ascent to Dunguromo pass (3100 m) passing through which we find ourselves in the fantastic valley of Dunguromo. After a couple of kilometers downhill this pass, we stop for the camping. Night is in tents at the altitude of 2850 m. Dinner will give us an opportunity to share with impressions of the opening day of the trekking.

Day 4: Dungurotmo gorge - Zauka Pass (3750 m) - Chokolu Lake (7 hours)
Today we wake up early around 7 o'clock in the morning. Like famous travelers such as Ella Mayart 1932, Semenov Tyanshyanskii 1856 passed this place in the ancient time, and the Chinese Muslims are also known to come from China 200 years ago  we will have a « vertical » hike to the Chokolu Lake over Zauka Pass, which is considered to be a historical pass, the part of the great Silk Road. The landscape is relatively flat, from vegetation prevails fine grass and moss, the climate is close to the tundra climate. Coming closer to the lake we will set up our camp for the night. Night is in tents.

Day 5: Chokolu Lake - Zauka Pass (3750 m) - Dzukuu gorge - Ashu Kashka Suu gorge
This day you will be pleasantly surprised with Kyrgyz nomads hospitality! On the way we meet with Kyrgyz nomads who live here in summer time. We will try Kyrgyz cheese there and if you want you can try Kyrgyz beer (fermented mare's milk). After breakfast we will have to prepare all our equipment and belongings to immerse them all on the horse and we will go further. We have to get back to the Zauka pass and after passing it we will reach the Dzhukuu valley. Then we go down the gorge about 20 km and arrive at the foot of the Ashu Kashka Suu gorge where we set up encampment for the night. Dinner and overnight is in tents at the altitude of 2770 m.

Day 6: Ashu Kashka Suu gorge - Ashu Tor Pass (3490 m) - Jukuchak gorge (7 hours)
Early in the morning we will have to prepare all of our gear and then we will hike up the gorge Ashu Kashka Suu. Having reached the foot of the pass, we make a short halt for lunch and then we will have to climb to 3490 m Ashu Tor passage. After the pass we get into the Dzhukuchak gorge where is the thermal mineral springs, which are in abundance on the territory of Issik - Kul region. Here we take a bath with hot mineral water which we all dreamed of for now 4 days of our trek. After good bath our guide will offer you a local beer but not Kyrgyz beer, this time is real Kyrgyz beer. Dinner. The night you are supposed to be spent in tents at the altitude of 2500 m. Sharing impressions of the passed days.

Day 7: Dzhukuchak gorge - Orto Bulak Pass (2900 m) - Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge
In the morning we will go towards the Kichi Kyzyl Suu Valley. This place is famous for its incredible beauty and stunning views of mountains.  First we reach in the territory of Issyk Kul forestry that is located in the Dzhukuchak gorge. Further we have to climb to the pass Orto Bulak (2900 m). Then we approach to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge where we break our camp for the night. Dinner and overnight is in tents at an altitude of 2300 m.

Day 8: Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Jili Suu water warm springs
After a good breakfast we begin our trekking towards the picturesque valley - ChonKyzyl Suu. First we have to go down to the Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge through the territory of forestry. Then we will go along the Djily Suu Mountains and finally we approach Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge. Here we enter the area of Ak Tash. Then we go up about three miles up to the warm mineral springs where we will for a second time be able to take a warm bath and relax. Dinner and overnight in yurts at the altitude of 2150 m.

Day 9: Chon Kyzyl Suu gorge - Kok Dzhayyk Pass (2700 meters) - Jeti Oguz gorge
This is the last day of trekking. After breakfast we start in the direction of the Jeti Oguz gorge - one of the most popular places to visit in our country. The region is famous for its beauty: nomads and glorious mountains make you feel like you are on the top of the world!   First, we go down to the place of Ak Tash, where we cross the river Kyzyl Suu (Red River). After that we begin the ascent to the pass Kok  Dzhayyk. The road will pass through a small pine forest, which will make an impact on you with its lifeless silence. It seems as if the whole world looks at you there. After the forest we will have a look at the Jeti Oguz gorge which will impress you for sure. After a couple of kilometers we reach the yurt camp Kok Dzhayyk where we spend the night. Overnight is in tents at the altitude of 2300 m.

Day 10: Jety Oguz gorge - Karakol (30 km - 1 h)
As soon as we finish with breakfast our journey will continue in the direction of the capital of Issik Kul region. Check-in hotel Elita**.  Today we will visit Prjvalsky Memorial Complex, dedicated to the outstanding Russian explorer of Central Asia. In order to understand the Kyrgyz life of the 19th century we will visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the wooden mosque, made in the Chinese style.  In the evening we drive to Dyishin village, where we will have dinner with Chinese Muslims. They are excellent at agriculture activity and very famous for national cuisine.  We will have an opportunity to try different kinds of salads and of course national dungan bread. You will have dinner after we come back to hotel. The Dungans came from Dunhuang, Central China. Chinese Muslims came to Kyrgyzstan 200 years ago when it was a war between Chinese and not Chinese nationalities and religions.

Day 11: Karakol - Kochkor village (330 km-6 h)
Early in the morning we move to the Kochkor village that is not in Issyk - Kul region. It is situated at the Naryn- the biggest region of the Kyrgyz Republic, where we can discover national traditions and customs, watch the process of making traditional Kyrgyz carpets and visit a handicraft museum. Also we will see and participate in the process of settling a yurt, a traditional collapsible felt house of nomads. In the evening you will listen to the Folk-concert.  On the way to Kochkor village we will drive along the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake - it means you will see the "pearl of Central Asia" form all sights! Overnight is in a guesthouse. Dinner in a yurt and carpet-making show is organized especially for you.

Day 12: Kochkor - Bishkek
Drive to Bishkek. Accommodation in a guesthouse. Free time for shopping or to walk around capital.

Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
You will be met by your guide at the hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to your Home Flight etails and accompanied to Manas Airport.
