Kyrgyz people say "Horses are men's wings". Since the very ancient times these animals played a vital role in the nomad's life. It was unrealizable to survive without a horse in mountainous country like Kyrgyzstan. During the tour you will ride a horse travelling along the Great Silk Road like a nomad. And it is perfect chance for you to get acquainted with Kyrgyz culture, try the traditional drink Kumis (mare's milk) and tasty dishes.


Tour summary: 

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
Your guide will meet you at Manas International Airport and attend you to Bishkek City (30 min. drive). After a breakfast you will be transferred to Issyk Kul Lake (200 km), "the pearl of Central Asia" as it also called. The lake lays in 1608m.above sea level, so it is the second largest alpine lake in the world. On the way, you will visit the Burana Tower (an ancient minaret 11th century) and ‘Cemetery of Balbans' (an open air museum of stone warriors). After a traditional lunch, you will continue the way to the lake. The rest of the day you will spend in Hotel on the northern beach of the lake. There you can lie on the warm sand and swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Issyk Kul Lake possesses curative qualities. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Day 2: Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol
Day starts at 8 o'clock with a breakfast, and then you have free time to enjoy the lake till 12 pm. Later, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (200 km). On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), and the local museum. And there will be a second stop during the trip at 12 o'clock, to have a lunch in nice atmosphere, before continuing your way to Karakol city along the northern shore of the lake, which's beauty you will be able to enjoy to the full during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Then you will be transferred to Karakol city, where you stay for a night in a Guesthouse. Dinner will be in a restaurant  at 8 p.m. there you can have a folklore show for additional price.

Day 3: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
Breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. Afterwards, you will have guided Karakol City Tour which includes the visit of the Dungan mosque. It is built using traditional Chinees technologies of constructing without any metal nail. After that you will visit an old wooden Orthodox Church. And finally you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the worlds greatest explores. spent half of his life exploring Central Asia, he crossed the great desert Taklamakan and discovered of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. City Tour ends with a traditional lunch. You leave Karakol at 1 p.m. and start our way to colorful Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley (70 km). On the way, you will see red mountains in different shapes, and visit the mineral hot springs at Jeli Suu ( Dungan Village), where you will have the opportunity to take a bath. Horseback riding tour to Chong Kyzyl Suu will take 1 hour. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts. A yurta is traditional collapsible nomad's dwelling made of a wooden skeleton and covered by felt.

Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
After a breakfast, you will leave the camp at 9 am and start horseback riding tour to the Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After lunch you will visit an amazing glacial lake, where you might see mountain goats. After enjoying wonderful view of the lake you come back to the station. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. Overnight in yurts.

Day 5: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Kishi Kyzyl Suu
After an early breakfast at 7 am, you will leave the station and move to the valley of Kishi Kyzyl Suu (lunch on the way) - it is a beautiful canyon that you will distinctly like (6h). You will be impressed by the amazing views of the untouched nature. You will arrive in Kishi Kyzyl village at 7 pm, where you will have half an hour time to settle the camp, while a traditional dinner will be served.

Day 6: Kishi Kyzyl Suu village - Jumakuchak
After breakfast you persist your horseback riding tour to Jumakuchak (6h) via the small Jumalai pass, where we will have a lunch. There is a gorgeous view of the sparkling surface of Issyk-Kul Lake. You will have a chance to explore its untouched nature on your own. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Overnight in Jumakuchak in tents between yurts of nomadic Kyrgyz people.

Day 7: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
The day starts with a breakfast at 8 am, before you will saddle your horse to take the ride from Jumakuchak to Kok Terek Village (6h). On the way you will move through the red cave that is called "500 rams" and a colorful mountain waterfall. You will have a picnic at the bottom of the waterfall. There are hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) situated not far from the waterfall and if you wish it is possible to visit. After having a rest you continue the way to Kok Terek village. Dinner and overnight will be in a home stay.

Day 8: Kok Terek - Bishkek
The breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock, and then you will be transferred to Bishkek city by car along the southern shore of the amazing Issyk-Kul Lake (380 km). You will arrive to Bishkek at around 5 pm, to a Hotel **** where you will have time to have some rest. Then you will have a farewell dinner in a restaurant at 7 pm.

Day 9: Bishkek - Europe
Breakfast is served at 9 o'clock. After that you will have guided Bishkek city tour (the capital of Kyrgyzstan), there you will visit the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. At 2 p.m. you will have lunch. The rest of the day is at your own arrangement. Pick up and transfer from the hotel.
